The AGL low disturbance subsoiler is designed to lift and alleviate compaction and promote soil structure while causing minimum disturbance to the top layer of soil.

Minimum disturbance is establishing itself as a great way to improve soil health and promote worm activity which helps increase crop yield.

Cutting It

The AGL features a leading row of 460mm serrated discs that cuts through the top layer of soil and trash, allowing the following low disturbance leg to pass through the soil without great disruption. Leaving the cover of trash on the field is good protection against water and wind erosion of the soil. Disc bar is fully height adjustable independent of the legs.
The following leg combined with a standard low disturbance point, drives through the opening left by the disc at a maximum depth of 350mm. The angled wings on the point lift the soil before it sits back down causing a shattering effect across the width of the machine, alleviating compaction, aerating the soil and helps water infiltration. This is all done with low disturbance to the top surface of the soil.
 

Roller

The AGL uses a simple flat packer with drive teeth that effectively closes the opening cut made by the leading disc and leg to leave a consolidated, level finish. Easy-Clean Scraper Bar™ helps prevent the transference of volunteers between fields.

Leg Options

The AGL offers a choice of 3 leg options. Shear-bolt, Snap-Bar™ or Auto-Reset.
