The Agriweld Agri-Press combines three actions (cultivation, levelling and consolidation) with a choice of three front working elements to create a single pass system.

Configurable Front Options

Our innovative design allows the user to switch from one cultivation system to another (additional parts required).

Two Rows of Opposing Concave Discs

Opposing discs are designed for cutting and mixing residue at speed.

What they do

  • Cut through straw, stubbles, and cover crops
  • Mix residue evenly into the topsoil
  • Leave a consistent tilth ahead of consolidation
  • Work effectively at higher forward speeds

Best used for

  • High residue situations (OSR, cereals, maize)
  • Stubble management and cover crop destruction
  • Firmer or baked ground

Farms prioritising finer tilth, surface mixing and promoting volunteer growth.

Pigtail Cultivating Tines (Most Aggressive)

Pigtail spring tines are designed to lift and loosen soil to working depths of up to 150mm, providing effective soil movement without full inversion.

What they do

  • Work down to 150mm depth, lifting and fracturing the soil
  • Create strong soil movement and mixes residue effectively.
  • Uproot weeds and volunteers, leaving them exposed on the surface
  • Produce an open tilth ahead of consolidation
  • Can be used as an alternative to ploughing where soil conditions allow.

Best used for

  • Ideal for opening a stail seedbed
  • Situations where ploughing is being reduced or avoided
  • Fields moving towards min-till or non-inversion systems

Straight Cultivating Tines

Straight, fixed tines offer a more direct, controlled cultivation action with less soil throw.

What they do

  • Fracture and loosen the soil with less disturbance
  • Maintain a level and consistent working depth across the machine
  • Work well in heavier soils where stability is important, won’t throw heavy clods around.

Best used for

  • Levelling ploughing.
  • Shallow loosening without aggressive mixing

Compared to pigtails

  • Less lifting and throwing
  • More stable and predictable in dense, heavier ground

Rear Consolidation

Two Rows of ARS Press Roller Rings

Delivers a firm, even seedbed with a durable ridged profile designed to withstand the elements.

  • Heavy pressing for firm finish
  • Provides a consistent depth
  • Encourages moisture retention
  • 750mm Diameter (860mm with teeth)
